AmeriCorps YouthBuild Service Learning: Course 1

In Course 1, you will explore the foundational elements that lead to meaningful service experiences for your members and impactful community projects. Together, we will define service learning, explore the 7 laws of impactful service, and explore the 5 steps of service learning. Additionally, we will turn a reflective eye to our own program practices, explore examples from exemplary YouthBuild projects, and create a blueprint for implementing 5 steps in our own program.
